627 West End Ave

The house was built in 1889 and retains many of its original features which offer an authentic period backdrop for filmmakers and photographers. With five floors and over 6,000 sq ft, there is plenty of space for dressing rooms, hair and make-up, plus craft services.

Details
Lighting

There are Roman columns and arches on the second floor landing staircase and original plaster mouldings throughout, like the garlands on the living room ceiling. There are eight fire places each with perfectly preserved trent glazed tile.

Back Staircase

There is a back staircase from the ground floor apartment connecting each level of the house, providing access for crew members to move between craft services in the kitchen, to any of the other floors of the house without disturbing shooting at the front of the house.

Chandeliers in the living room, landing and dining room which can provide a feature or be removed for filming

or photography.

Holding
Areas

The ground apartment on street level is an ideal holding area or dressing room. As well as having a connecting back staircase it also has a bathroom and french windows which open out on to small patio for smoking breaks outside.
